Exotic Tours was one of the first internet tour companies with exclusive tours to Bali Indonesia. After great success the company expanded into Hainan China. Hainan was just opening to international tourist and Exotic Tours was there. Now with exposure on Comedy Central and Carton Television in the UK, exotic tours was the top search site for travel. With great success also comes tragedy, in 2005 terrorist bombed Kuta Bali, it was right outside the tour companies office. Over 300 people died mostly tourist. We were there but out on a tour in another part of Bali and no one in the tour group was injured. In respect we never reopened the office but have returned to Bali many times since.

After 30 years of teaching woodworking, Pat Dugdale retired to the Big Island where he started a wood shop to make his favorite Koa Rocking Chair. With over 100 chairs made by his students, all from templets directly off the original Queen Emma Rocker, Pat is making them for customers who appreciate fine Koa Furniture.
